DepthAI-Core starting point addon for Openframeworks.

Getting Started

1) Install Openframeworks.




2) Install DepthAI-Core.




3) clone this repository inside your OF_PATH/addons




4) add ofxCMake to your addons.




5) Add the ofxDepthAICore.cmake to the external folder of ofxCMake which is here.




Alternatively you can change the path of ofxDepthai-Core to your own, by changing this line.




6) bump up the json version of Openframeworks to 3.9.1.

You can use Openframeworks Apothecary to update it by using this file as formulae. Clone the repo inside OF_INSTALL//scripts/, then copying it into your apothecary formulaes folder (OF_INSTALL//scripts/apothecary/apothecary/formulas/). Then copy the json 3.9.1 from OF_INSTALL/scripts/apothecary/json/include/json.hpp into OF_INSTALL//libs/json/include/json.hpp.




Or simply replace `OF_INSTALL//libs/json/include/json.hpp with this json.hpp.




7) Run the cmake .. command from one of the examples .For example, for the NeuralNetworkExample :

cd NeuralNetworkExample
mkdir build
cmake ..

You should get an ouutput close to this one

8) Run the example.




It is important to note that DepthAI-Core in Openframeworks requires to use sudo.

cd NeuralNetworkExample
cd build
make -j$(n_proc)
cd ../ && cd bin
sudo ./depthAICoreNNExample
